Fine painting and specialty finishes for Dallas homes.

Family owned since 2004, with careful preparation and distinctive finishes for Dallas homes.

What we apply

Seven finishes. Each with its own preparation.

Hand applied texture, the reflection of high gloss enamel, the depth of a custom stain. Each finish asks something different of the surface and the application. We bring the preparation and finish expertise to carry those details through.

Cream plaster fireplace framed by arched wood shelves and cabinets.

Venetian plaster

Meoded lime plaster brings texture and sheen to walls and fireplace surrounds.

Interior limewash project with a dark stone vanity, brass fixtures and a white tub.

Limewash and mineral finishes

Limewash adds soft variation to suitable masonry and prepared interior walls.

For designers and contractors

The finish you specify. The detail it takes.

  • A walkthrough to review the intended finish, surfaces, and project requirements.
  • A written scope naming the preparation level, the products, and the areas included.
  • Color, sheen, and sample choices reviewed before the work is scheduled.
For every project

Care for the work and the space.

  • Protection for surrounding surfaces and preparation suited to the finish.
  • Communication about access, work areas, and the project schedule.
  • A final review together and guidance for caring for the finished surfaces.

Bring us the finish you have in mind. We will help define the work it takes.

How we work

Preparation in writing. Materials by name. A finish you can check.

01

Define the finish and scope

We review the design, assess the surfaces and establish the work involved. Your written estimate sets out the preparation, products and areas included. For repainting previously finished surfaces, the PCA P14 preparation level is Level 2 unless the scope says otherwise.

02

Prepare for the result

Filling, sanding, priming and caulking are planned around the surface and the chosen coating, with the surrounding space protected. When samples are part of the scope, we review color, sheen and texture in the room and its light.

03

Apply with precision

From painted millwork to hand troweled plaster, the coating and application are matched to the surface. We review the finished work with you, explain its care, and back residential repaints with a three year written warranty.
